Two Easy Treats for the Christmas Season

11/11/2016 by kimberley Leave a Comment

If you’re like me, you get easily distracted by videos that pop up on your Facebook feed of amazing food ideas that take like 5 minutes and look as if they taste the bomb. The creativity! I also realised that I can SAVE videos as well, not just like them, so that I can access them whenever I want. I’ve found two super easy treat ideas for the Christmas Season that are great for kids or even for a festive party – plus they are pretty easy, fast to make and yummy.

The Caramel Twirly Scone

Talk about yummy! Combine a scone mix (this one is from SASKO, but you could use any) with a tin of caramel, some sprinkles and icing and you have super easy caramel scone twirls that will delight old and young alike.

The Easy Rice Krispie Christmas Tree

Ok, this is super cool. Little frosted mini Christmas trees that dot your festive table? How much more fun can you get. Plus the recipe totally reminds me of those rice crispie crunchies we used to make in junior school that left your hands sticky and your mouth smiley 🙂

And there you go. Two super easy Christmas season treats to enjoy with the family – plus I bet they work well as midnight snacks! x
