One of my wonderful colleagues who’s just had her first little boy was so inspiring to me in the different touches she was putting on her new baby room. Every week some exciting package arrived at work carrying mobiles and blankets and all sorts of gorgeous décor items that I new was going to make her nursery just beautiful.
Since we were simply moving Oliver into Benjamin’s baby room, we didn’t do much in terms of décor revamp (see my more practical baby room must haves here), but I did dream 😉 My colleague was also using white and grey, two timeless colours that I just LOVE for nurseries. First, it’s totally gender neutral, second, it’s incredibly classic but can be easily jazzed up with trendy prints, themed décor or customised wall stickers.
Here is a selection of some of the most gorgeous baby rooms I’ve found that fit this lovely grey and white theme. What do you think? Any favourites?

ooooh, I loved these! I have been plotting and planning with greys and whites in mind. Some inspiration for sure
I think with your house, the grey & white combo with a cute splash of colour could look amazing for your baba’s room 🙂 Yay glad to have inspired x
Hi Kimmi. I LOVE the first one with the polka dots and the ellie 🙂 I love the last one as well for the space – i enjoy space, and I’d imagine since you’ll be spending so much time in this room it’s nice. Space also can make the room feel less cluttered. Love the rocking horse too 🙂 xx
Thanks Steph! There’s also loads of elephant-inspired prints and fabrics around, so it’s an easy ‘theme’ for a baby room for sure. The scandi design I really love, it’s so modern and contemporary 🙂 Space is pretty important, but even if your room is on the smaller side, it’s about keeping it uncluttered with just a few key items (cot, chair, changing table, chest of drawers) plus pretty decor to make sure it’s a happy space.
